This site has been needed for a long time. Thanks,
Laura and Jeff Pate
No problem Mr. Carpenter....just trying to help all I can. Life is too short to spend it quarrelling with the world, and there are families out there in need of financial relief.
I thank you for the recognition, and I thank you for the unwavering service you have been able to provide this industry with.
Keep up the exemplary work !!!
Have a safe day,
W.F. BERGER, SR.
I just want to wish everyone a happy and safe new year and hope that there will be plenty jobs for 2004. Al I want to
especially wish you happy holidays because you have done and still doing a great job for this site. really do appreciate you.
Mr. Carpenter,
I am the Placement Director at a trade school, my students and I find your website very helpful! Keep up the good work, and don't let the negative attitudes hinder you!
While I am bitchin' about one thing I might as well also say something positive about something (or SOMEONE) else. Al Carpenter, I always see you and your postings here and the only thing I can think of saying is-good job!!! You really seem to be actually thinking of the working man.
You are always posting job possibilities here, and while they don't always pan out (what does?) you seem to give a rat's ass about whether people are working or not!
And, that last posting with all the job links!!??--If that doesn't keep people busy with possibilities I don't know what would. Keep up the good work, and THANKS!
Thank you so much for steering
me to wishihadajob.com site, it is the best
one yet !! Maybe it will work for me.
Thanks again
Mr. Carpenter

Hi
Al!
Many thanks for your e-mail.
Wow what a site! A web site that is. I noted several requisition
numbers that would apply to the "fit" requirements. You will
also find my resume attached herewith. If you have any comments
or suggestions, I'd be much obliged if you'd let me know. GE
requisitions numbers are: # 272413, # 273288, # 273286, # 272251,
# 272194. Again many thanks for your help, it is not often that
we meet individuals like you on the Internet, individuals committed
to assist others in landing a job. It is highly commendable
and deeply appreciated.
Roger Meunier,
Mr. Carpenter;
Thank you for the response. Hope I'll get a chance to work with you
soon, too! (SUMMER?!)
Working in a State Employment office, I get a lot of construction
worker traffic past my desk. I've made up a list of internet job searching
sites, including construction oriented addresses, to hand out to clients.
Wishihadajob.com is included. I try to keep the list updated, and
well distributed!
We are also one of the few, (if not the only) employment offices that
carries a hot sheet for construction clients use. My boss ordered it
after I came to work here. I'm working on getting a subscription to
the other magazine in the office, too.
Always good to hear from you.
Kitty

Anyone looking for better
job boards without all the union BS and other bs. Something
that just has jobs listed on it should go to www.wishihadajob.com
"click" on job boards. |
Al,
Thanks, your help is definitely appreciated.

Al,
Thank you for the follow up. I understand you are
the site administrator, so I assume you are giving me a heads up about
Doug Martin's interest. I have tried to call him several times,
and have yet to get an answer. I finally sent him and e-mail
regarding wanting to touch base with him. If you have a better
way of contacting him, please let me know.
Thanks for the follow up, and for the helpful site!
Sincerely,
Brian Van Aken

Thank-you Mr. Carpenter,
I very
much appreciate the assistance. I am in a strange position, I have
a
good job but our salaries have been frozen, bonuses suspended, matching
of
401k stopped. I am being relocated to the Philadelphia area which
has a much
higher cost of living than where I am located. This will result
in a huge
standard of living drop for my family.
thank-you and take
care

Q: construction employment for ladies?

at 12:20:29
Not
all of us are guys, check into planning, scheduling maintenance
activities, its a step above what you've done but seems like the
boards like roadwhore.com and wishihadajob.com have
more listings for that type of work.
